Adolphe Paul Barbarin (May 5, 1899 – February 17, 1969) was an American jazz drummer from New Orleans. Barbarin grew up in New Orleans in a family of musicians, including his father, three of his brothers, and his nephew (Danny Barker). He was a member of the Silver Leaf Orchestra and the Young Olympia Band. He moved to Chicago in 1917 and worked with Freddie Keppard and Jimmie Noone. From 1925–1927, he was a member of King Oliver's band.

He recorded with Paul Barbarin repeatedly over the course of the 1950s and 1960s. He and Jim Robinson collaborated in the early 1960s, and he also recorded with Harold Dejan in 1962 and with the Onward Brass Band in 1968. From 1974 to 1980 Cagnolatti was a mainstay at Preservation Hall. In 1973, he recorded the solo album Evolution (Supernal), with Bob Cranshaw and George Davis as guest musicians. His compositions are influenced by Baby Dodds, Paul Barbarin, and Max Roach. Barbarin tours internationally with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and with Harry Connick Jr. He made his debut at age six, playing drums in the Onward Brass Band, with his great-uncle Paul Barbarin, and has played with: Harry Connick J. Dr. Michael White, Wynton Marsalis, Dianne Reeves, Doc Cheatham, Lionel Hampton. While in New Orleans he performs locally and helps raise his five children.
