Erasure - The Interview album download

Another Erasure interview about the "Loveboat" album, published on VirtueTV Web. High quality for being from year 2000.

I had this video file somewhere on my PC, I looked for it on YT and since there was not there I decided to upload it. I have no more details about it. Just . .

Erasure is the seventh studio album by Erasure, released in 1995. It was produced by Thomas Fehlmann (of The Orb) and Gareth Jones. An overtly experimental and introspective album, Erasure contains eleven, mostly mid-tempo tracks that differed from their past output of shiny, three-minute pop songs. Most tracks clocked in at five minutes or more, several contained long synth interludes, and guest artists included the London Community Gospel Choir and performance artist Diamanda Galás.

Erasure had no plans to conquer America when their third full-length The Innocents hit . shores on May 24, 1988, thirty years ago today

This series is complemented by the re-release of Erasure’s Wild! LP. The album was originally released in October 1989 and put the duo of Vince Clarke and Andy Bell on the top of the charts. According to Erasure’s fan base this record is still one of their best and contains timeless classics like Drama!, You Surround Me, or Blue Savannah, which are still part of their concerts.

The Erasure singer opens up about his forays in the punk scene, a 10-year coke addiction and living with HI. I had to go offstage straight into an MTV interview. I was furious and Vince put his fingers to his lips as if to say "Ssssh. They asked me how the gig went and I said, "Oh it was amazing" (laughs). What's the forthcoming Erasure album like? It's so lovely. The Violet Flame (4 ) is a really apt title.

The new album is Erasure’s fourteenth studio album. Though the group has never been able to shake off its association with the 80s, a period in which they enjoyed huge success, their new album has been given a modern treatment by Frankmusik. Frank was our instinctive choice for producer. It needed someone who knew we could still sound really fresh. Frank did the 2009 remix of Phantom Bride for The Innocents album reissue, which we really liked. The fans championed him too. I think it also helped that he was kind of enamoured of Vince

Interview: Erasure’s Vince Clarke. by Ben Hogwood published: 18 Dec 2016 in Interviews. I think it was probably when Sometimes was released in the UK, and when it charted. That was our first song in the charts, on the second album, and we were feeling really good about our relationship. It was a time when we were both writing together, so in the UK that was the time for us. Clarke has fond memories of 1989’s Wild! concert at the London Arena in 1989, documented as a DVD on From Moscow To Mars.

Erasure are having a break.
