Then you can start reading Kindle books on your smartphone, tablet, or computer - no Kindle device required. My only regret is that this new volume isn't any longer than it is. More than once I felt a familiar wave of Kenneth Grahame in either a subtle turn of phrase, or understated humor, or overall length of sentence. The lush English countryside was everywhere. Ms Johnson has beautifully reproduced the tone and sensibility of the original Wind in the Willows, only now with some fully realized female characters. A quick, but delightful read.
