Silvana Savorelli (30 April 1945 – 8 May 2018), professionally known as Lara Saint Paul, was an Italian Eritrean singer, entertainer, impresario and record producer. Saint Paul's first public performance was in 1962 at the Festival della canzone italiana, also known as the Sanremo Music Festival, in Italy. She went by the name of 'Tanya' and performed the ballad "I colori della felicità"

Lara Saint Paul, a popular singer who, inspired by Jane Fonda, kindled an aerobic fitness craze in Italy in the 1980s, died on May 8 in Casalecchio di Reno, near Bologna. She was 73. Her death was confirmed by the Hospice Casalecchio di Reno. Her album Aerobic Dance was certified gold in Italy. She also licensed an apparel line that she helped design and a chain of fitness clubs that prospered before the aerobics mania subsided. But in recent years Ms. Saint Paul suffered a number of reversals. Her husband, Pier Quinto Cariaggi, a successful producer, died in 1995.

Lara Saint Paul was one of Italy’s most vibrant artists who fused American soul with an operatic European lyricism. From 1967 she assumed the name Lara Saint Paul. The country was an Italian colony before being occupied by the British during the Second World War. From 1949 it became a UN trust territory administered by the UK.
