The Beatles may be the most celebrated rock band ever, but the Stones are the Greatest Rock ‘n Roll Band in the World. It’s like a battle of champions in sports, but without any rules or a scoreboard. But I’m giving this game to The Rolling Stones. Sticky Fingers is flawless, consistently brilliant without any let up, diverse in mastering pop rock, hard rock, jazz-rock, country-rock (which this album pretty much invents) and confessional rock ( Moonlight Mile ). It’s arguably the greatest album ever made.
The Rolling Stones is the debut album by the Rolling Stones, released by Decca Records in the UK on 16 April 1964. The album is included in Robert Dimery's 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
The Beatles swiped elements from musicians ranging from Chuck Berry to Pee Wee Crayton, but were usually careful to disguise the source. Led Zeppelin, however, took the practice further than most of their peers. Decide for yourself who’s to blame: here are 10 cases when the band, at least initially, didn’t give other songwriters their due. 1. Babe I’m Gonna Leave You. The last track on Led Zeppelin III, named in tribute to the band’s chum Roy Harper, throws together bits and pieces of various blues songs, most prominently Bukka White’s Shake ‘Em on Down, released in 1937. The band listed the author as Traditional and the arrangement as being by Charles Obscure (a pseudonym for Page).
Led Zeppelin were an English rock band who recorded 108 songs between 1968 and 1980. Their self-titled debut album, Led Zeppelin, released in early 1969, contained songs that were influenced by the genres of blues, hard rock and heavy metal
Hard Rock Pop Rock therefore Led Zeppelin The Beatles. My brother hates led zeppelin, but I love Them! I'm a big led zeppelin fan, and wish my brother would be as well! Amazing where the hell would I be with out these beautifully brilliant people. 6 The Who The Who is an English rock band formed in London, England in 1964. The most recognizable lineup was Roger Daltrey (lead vocals), Pete Townshend (guitar), John Entwistle (bass guitar), and Keith Moon (drums). They are best known for their live performances and hit songs Baba O'Riley, My Generation, and. The Who are way underrated and deserve much more respect. Best with led zeppelin and rolling stones and iron maiden - shatti. Home to some of the greatest guitar riffs! Great!
Rock monsters Led Zeppelin are one of the greatest, hardest rock bands ever, and the four individual members are all some of the best players of their generation too. Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, and Jimmy Page stand head and shoulders above their contemporaries as individual musicians, and their talents combined to create some of the heaviest rock of their generation. 20/20 1. The Beatles. Who cares if they only really released one good album, the Stone Roses have carved out a groove in the British zeitgeist unlike anyone else before or after them.

The Beatles Are Better Than The Rolling Stones. These bands have more in common than their respective critics acknowledge: They're both British, they both grew up with American rock 'n' roll records that made up their early repertoires and they both shaped 20th-century music as we know it. But only one group continued to cut new paths at every step: the Beatles. That's not to take anything away from the Rolling Stones' greatest achievements of the '60s and '70s.
