Broken Social Scene have defied they're spotlight in the mainstream, but for a good cost - they get to make the music that they love the most. In they're five year recording career, there's barely been a mention of them on the radio, there haven't been memorobilia, there haven't been teenage fans waving "I Love You!" signs at they're concerts. The recent win of the Best Alternative Album juno might shove them into the mainstream a little bit more, but rest assured this band isn't about to change

Broken Social Scene cast an abstract web of dream pop, shoegaze, and indie rock for their debut album, Feel Good Lost. Essentially, it's an album of instrumentals. The title itself hints at the collective's effort in composing a lush soundscape of strings, brass, guitars, and pianos with an added dash of electronic beats. Songs such as "Guilty Cubicles" and "Blues for Uncle Gibb" alone showcase the band's well-crafted mind trip.

Marilbine
Any notes on how this remaster sounds compared to the original vinyl?
Wel
Just got this one, and it sounds great. Clear highs and lows. Not like the first reissue, which some have complained about in reviews.
Riavay
It sounds excellent, no weird digital artifacts. Noah Mintz did the record justice, the way it should've been years ago.
Kanrad
Just got a sealed copy at a local store. Record sounds like it was pressed using 64kbps mp3's. Possible boot? Anyone else have a sound quality issue?
Lli
I added matrix/runout information and photos, at least based on the vinyl release I own. It looks pretty much legit, but I can be wrong. You can compare with your copy.
Galanjov
Any tip offs for the boot? Was there a sticker stating it was a reissue and on 180g?
Kieel
How can I identify the boot? Any hints, artwork mistakes or something like that?
Cae
Yeah I think it is a boot. Just got one last week and the side C and D are switched label wise. Still sounds great though.
Blackstalker
not sure why so expensive here. $18 from bullmoose brand new. sounds great.
