Jam Session is a live album by American trumpeters Clifford Brown, Clark Terry and Canadian trumpeter Maynard Ferguson featuring tracks recorded in early 1954 and released on the EmArcy label.
A jam session is a relatively informal musical event, process, or activity where musicians, typically instrumentalists, play improvised solos and vamp on tunes, songs and chord progressions. To "jam" is to improvise music without extensive preparation or predefined arrangements, except for when the group is playing well-known jazz standards or covers of existing popular songs.

You can help confirm this entry by contributing facts, media, and other evidence of notability and mutation. Jam It In!, vagOOO, and pOnOs are exploitable phrases stemming from an awkwardly translated hentai doujin , in which the Fate/stay night character Saber, asks her master Shirou to restore her magic by "putting his ponos to her vagooo, and then J-J-JAMMING IT I. On the other hand, the phrase/image You Lost Me became a response to any sexual innuendo, mocking Shirou's confusion about what Saber was asking him to do. These phrases made their first appearance on 4chan's /a/ board before later spreading to the infamous /b/ board.
Just because you happen to be up there with your regular band fellows does not mean that you should call up your original tunes and arrangements. It’s a jam session, not your band’s show. I once got to a jam session just before it started, signed my name on the list to sit in, and then waited around for an hour while the session leader let a band play a set. I left when the session leader told me that they would be taking a 20 minute break and then I would be able to play.
If you dig the show, we'd love to receive your feedback! Huge thanks to Frederick Tubiermont for setting up the live feed. Tony O’Malley is a soul survivor. He co-founded Kokomo in the seventies, who toured with The Average White Band and recorded with Bob Dylan on Desire. Meteorite is O’Malley’s eleventh solo album. The album kicks off with the title track, a storming groove reminiscent of Steely Dan’s Cousin Dupree. It goes at a fair lick and is what O’Malley is all about, pure groove, funky keyboard, growling vocals and soul to spare. Whether funk, soul, groove, gospel, jazz or ballads, O’Malley has it all. Check out his impressive back catalogue.
The lineup of this jam session is quite remarkable with trumpeters Clifford Brown, Clark Terry, and Maynard Ferguson, altoist Herb Geller, tenor saxophonist Harold Land, Richie Powell, or Junior Mance on piano, Keeter Betts or George Morrow on bass, and drummer Max Roach . My Funny Valentine/Don't Worry 'Bout Me/Bess, You Is My Woman. Rube Bloom, George Gershwin, Lorenz Hart, DuBose Heyward, Oscar Hammerstein II, Ted Koehler, Richard Rodgers.
